<li>Experience in freight forwarding, particularly import and export operations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of multimodal logistics, especially sea and road freight.</li><li>Familiarity with Incoterms, Bills of Lading, and customs procedures.</li><li>Confidence in providing customer quotes and managing supplier relationships.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.</li><li>Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.</li></ul>
Key Responsibilities <ul>
<li>Coordinate Shipments: Ensure accurate preparation and dispatch of cargo from multiple locations, maintaining compliance and proper documentation for all stakeholders.</li><li>Multimodal Solutions: Use a mix of sea, road, rail, and air transport to meet customer needs.</li><li>Customer Service: Provide prompt responses to enquiries, draft quotations, and keep clients up to date with shipment progress.</li><li>Sales and Business Development: Spot and develop new sales opportunities within the logistics sector, helping to expand our business.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Compliance: Ensure all shipping documents are prepared and compliant with regulations, including Bills of Lading (HBL &amp; MBL).</li><li>Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth operations across departments.</li><li>Liaise with External Partners: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and industry bodies like BIFA, RHA, and Customs authorities.</li><li>Invoice Management: Work with the Head of Logistics to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all shipments.</li></ul>
