Job Title: Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver (Tail Lift) &ndash; TemporaryLocation: Darwen Job Type: Temporary (with potential for extension) Salary: &pound;16.00 p/hAsion are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Category C) Multi-Drop Driver for a temporary position for a client in the Darwen area. The role involves delivering goods to multiple sites using a vehicle equipped with a tail lift, ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customers.Key Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Carry out multi-drop deliveries</li><li>Operate a tail lift and pallet truck safely</li><li>Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in full</li><li>Carry out vehicle checks and complete daily defect sheets</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork</li><li>Provide a high level of customer service at all delivery points</li><li>Comply with all Driving Hours, Working Time Directive, and Road Transport Regulations</li><li>Follow health &amp; safety procedures at all times</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul>
<li>Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2)</li><li>Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card</li><li>Experience with multi-drop deliveries (minimum 6 months preferred)</li><li>Competent using a tail lift and pump truck</li><li>Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations</li><li>Physically fit &ndash; some manual handling required</li><li>Strong timekeeping and reliability</li><li>Flexible and adaptable attitude</li></ul>
