We're looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth within the packaging division of a fast-growing logistics and warehousing company based in the North West.<h3 data-start="686" data-end="704">About the Role</h3>
You&rsquo;ll play a key role in driving revenue and expanding our footprint in the contract packing and export packaging markets. Working closely with operations and commercial leadership, you&rsquo;ll identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and provide tailored solutions to clients in the manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce sectors.<h3 data-start="1066" data-end="1090">Key Responsibilities</h3>

Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the packaging sector</li><li data-start="1181" data-end="1339">
Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects across industries requiring contract packing, palletization, export packaging, and redistribution services</li><li data-start="1340" data-end="1407">
Develop client proposals and lead negotiations through to close</li><li data-start="1408" data-end="1508">
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence from onboarding through to delivery</li><li data-start="1509" data-end="1577">
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy</li><li data-start="1578" data-end="1637">
Represent the business at industry events and trade shows</li></ul>
<h3 data-start="1639" data-end="1655">Requirements</h3>
<ul data-start="1657" data-end="2112">

Proven track record in B2B business development or sales, ideally in packaging, logistics, supply chain, or warehousing</li><li data-start="1781" data-end="1902">
Strong knowledge of packaging services (e.g. pick &amp; pack, export packing, palletization, container loading/unloading)</li><li data-start="1903" data-end="1977">
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills</li><li data-start="1978" data-end="2047">
Self-starter with a results-driven approach and commercial acumen</li><li data-start="2048" data-end="2112">
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment</li></ul>
