Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Brighton & Hove
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
We’re currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our growing team in Brighton. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity supporting the coordination of port handling, mining equipment, and spare parts shipments from Europe to various destinations across West Africa.
This position offers a hands-on role within an international logistics environment where no two days are the same. Full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a desire to grow in the supply chain and logistics industry.

Who we’re looking for:
- Familiarity with air, sea, and road freight processes is highly beneficial
- Experience in a fast-paced logistics or shipping environment is desirable
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Proactive and adaptable, able to work independently once trained
- High attention to detail is a must
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Interest in logistics and supply chain
- Knowledge of West African geography or any foreign language skills is a plus
Key responsibilities:
- Process customer orders from initial request through to final dispatch
- Coordinate shipments from Europe to West Africa with suppliers and freight providers
- Prepare and verify export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide regular shipment updates to customers
- Handle queries from customers and internal teams professionally and promptly
- Resolve logistics and supply chain issues, escalating where necessary
- Maintain accurate logistics records within internal systems
- Work collaboratively across teams to meet key deadlines
- Ensure top-tier customer service throughout the shipping process
- Notify customers of any service failures or delays
