Key Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Coordinate daily transport operations &ndash; schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers efficiently.</li><li>Monitor fleet and delivery performance &ndash; track vehicle usage, delivery timelines, and optimize routes.</li><li>Implement and maintain systems &ndash; introduce and manage Transport Management Systems (TMS) or logistics software to streamline operations.</li><li>Liaise with clients and suppliers &ndash; ensure clear communication for timely pickups and deliveries.</li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance &ndash; uphold safety, legal, and operational standards.</li><li>Manage documentation &ndash; maintain accurate transport logs, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance reports.</li><li>Identify and solve operational issues &ndash; respond promptly to delays, breakdowns, or routing problems.</li><li>Support efficiency initiatives &ndash; analyze data to improve cost control, fuel efficiency, and scheduling.</li><li>Coordinate team activities &ndash; supervise and support drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel.</li><li>Train staff on new systems &ndash; educate team members on using new tools and technologies effectively.</li></ul>
