Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with health & safety legislation, environmental regulations, and customer quality standards.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and support continuous improvement across departments.
  • Deliver training and toolbox talks to raise awareness and maintain high QHSE standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records, and support external audits as required.
  • Report on QHSE performance and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a QHSE role within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience in audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g. HSE, COSHH, RIDDOR).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Internal or lead auditor qualification (desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
