Our client, a well-established business within the metals sector, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sales support and client relationship management.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.</li><li>Work alongside the External Sales Team to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.</li><li>Provide high-quality customer service, responding to client enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.</li><li>Assist in preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.</li><li>Support marketing initiatives by preparing sales materials, proposals, and contracts.</li><li>Proactively identify potential leads through research and cold calling.</li><li>Maintain and update sales documentation, ensuring smooth processing of contracts, orders, and reports.</li><li>Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to enhance the overall sales process.</li><li>Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to contribute to sales strategies.</li></ul>
&nbsp;Key Skills &amp; Experience:<ul>
<li>Minimum of 2 years&rsquo; experience in an internal sales or sales support role, preferably within a commercial or metals/manufacturing industry environment.</li><li>Strong ability to manage client relationships and drive customer satisfaction.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).</li><li>Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>A proactive and results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.</li><li>Relationship building and networking skills.</li><li>Sales and business development acumen.</li><li>Resilience and the ability to handle challenges effectively.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Effective time management and ability to multitask.</li></ul>
