About the Role
Class 1 & Class 2 HGV Drivers – Permanent Roles
Location: Wembley
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: £17 – £20 per hour (PAYE, depending on experience)
Aspion is recruiting professional Class 1 & Class 2 HGV Drivers for a permanent role based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team, delivering plant machinery to a wide range of customers across the UK, with a primary focus in the South of England.
General Duties:
- Delivering plant machinery to businesses and construction sites across the UK
- Predominantly covering routes in the South of England
- Operating low loaders – low loader experience is essential
- Daily vehicle checks, compliance with transport laws and safety standards
- Customer interaction on delivery sites
- Nights out available but not essential
Benefits on Offer:
- £17 – £20 per hour (PAYE) depending on experience
- ✅ 12 hours paid minimum Monday to Friday
- ✅ 10 hours paid on Saturdays (if worked; rest periods must be observed)
- 30 days holiday, including Bank Holidays
- Monthly bonus based on Performance / Accident / Compliance
- Permanent contract with guaranteed hours
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Plant delivery and low loader experience is essential
- A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and excellent customer service
- Good UK geographical knowledge and time management
