Class 1 HGV Driver (Walking Floor Trailers) – Days

Location: Widnes 
Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday Days
Shift Pattern: Day Shifts
Rate: £17.38 p/h

Aspion are currently seeking reliable and professional Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers to join our growing team. The role involves operating walking floor trailers on scheduled deliveries and collections across the UK.

We welcome both experienced drivers and newly qualified (new pass) drivers. Full training will be provided on walking floor trailer operations for candidates who do not have previous walking floor experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles and walking floor trailers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Deliver and collect products in line with customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Road Transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Essential:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.

• Experience within bulk haulage, recycling, waste, agricultural, or transport sectors.
