Reporting To: Site Supervisor / Facilities Manager
Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Mon – Fri
Salary: £15.68 / £17.55

Aspion are recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner for a trusted and well established client in the Wirral area. The main responsibilities of the role is to maintain a clean, safe, and obstruction-free outdoor work environment across the site. This includes cleaning of industrial machinery, removal of site waste and debris, and ensuring all walkways and work areas remain free of hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cleaning of outdoor areas including paths, laydown areas, access roads, and work zones.
• Clean and maintain plant and machinery as instructed, ensuring safe and appropriate cleaning techniques are used.
• Collect, remove, and dispose of site rubbish, industrial waste, and scrap materials in accordance with environmental and site policies.
• Keep laydown areas and access routes clear of obstructions and hazards at all times.
• Identify and report any health and safety concerns, potential hazards, or equipment faults to the site supervisor promptly.
• Use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, adhering to COSHH regulations.
• Carry out duties in all weather conditions and ensure compliance with site-specific PPE requirements.
• Support the site team during shutdowns, clean-ups, and project transitions as needed.
• Follow all site procedures and safety protocols without exception.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Previous experience in an industrial cleaning or similar outdoor role
• Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
