Our client, a well-established engineering business, is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive to join their team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in bearing sales who enjoys building long term customer relationships and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, converting enquiries into sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Process customer orders accurately and liaise with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide product advice and guidance, helping customers identify the most suitable bearing solutions for their applications.
  • Carry out outbound calls to existing and prospective customers where required to generate opportunities, follow up quotations, and develop new business.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience selling bearings is essential.
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of enquiries.
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Experience using ERP and CRM systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings would be highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence essential, as occasional use of a company vehicle may be required.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills with a proactive approach to sales.

Requirements: - NEBOSH qualification is essential. - Previous experience managing Health & Safety within an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environment. - Experience managing ISO systems with a good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 requirements. - Previous involvement in supporting or managing ISO audits. - Strong understanding of risk assessments, compliance, and Health & Safety legislation. - A proactive approach with the ability to identify improvements and implement change. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with both management and operational teams. - A hands-on approach with the confidence to work closely with teams on the yard and across the business. - Experience supporting HR processes would be advantageous. CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator AM & PM Shifts Available Location: Dudley Salary: £19 per hour AM Shift / £20 per hour PM Shift Reference: ASPLIV Industry: Fasteners Our client, a well-established precision engineering business based in Dudley, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their growing manufacturing team. This position would suit an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator with strong knowledge of CNC machining and Fanuc-controlled machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components in line with customer drawings, specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities: - Programming CNC machinery to produce components to specification. - Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls. - Working in line with customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements. - Ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high levels of quality, safety and efficiency. - Carrying out first-off and self-inspection to ensure components meet tight tolerances. - Proving out programmes at the machine and making adjustments where required. - Working with minimal supervision following training, demonstrating strong initiative and understanding of manufacturing processes. - Reporting tooling requirements to the supervisor. - Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times. - Supporting continuous improvement in quality, efficiency and machine performance. - Undertaking training and development programmes as required. - Taking a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks, reporting any concerns appropriately. - Carrying out any other duties commensurate with the role.
