Welder / Fabricator
Oldham
£31,000 - £36,000 (dependent on experience)
I am currently working with a well established and growing manufacturing business based in Oldham that is looking to strengthen its fabrication team with the addition of an experienced Welder / Fabricator.

Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator
• TIG welding on a variety of components and assemblies
• Fabricating products from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Working with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel materials
• Sheet metal fabrication and assembly work
• Using fabrication machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Working to quality standards and production deadlines
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining a clean working area
Requirements of the Welder / Fabricator
• Over 2 years' experience in welding and fabrication
• TIG welding experience
• Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Sheet metal fabrication experience
• Experience working with fabrication equipment and machinery
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
• Experience working to quality standards and deadlines
• Experience working to strict site health and safety standards
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
