Our client, a leading company in their industry, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimise their warehouse operations in Essex. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a key part in driving efficiency, managing the team, and planning transport operations.

This role would suit a candidate that is very hands on and enjoys rolling up their sleeves and leading from the front with the team.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage the warehouse team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Implement change initiatives to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Take a hands-on approach when required to support day-to-day warehouse activities.
• Ensure the effective use of technology to streamline operations.
• Plan and organise warehouse activities, including stock control, workflow, and scheduling.
• Manage and plan transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Requirements:

• Strong people and leadership skills with a proven track record in managing teams.
• Experience implementing change and driving operational improvements.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• Technology-efficient and comfortable using systems to enhance warehouse operations.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge and experience in transport operations and logistics.
