This position would suit an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator with strong knowledge of CNC machining and Fanuc-controlled machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components in line with customer drawings, specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities: - Programming CNC machinery to produce components to specification. - Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls. - Working in line with customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements. - Ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high levels of quality, safety and efficiency. - Carrying out first-off and self-inspection to ensure components meet tight tolerances. - Proving out programmes at the machine and making adjustments where required. - Working with minimal supervision following training, demonstrating strong initiative and understanding of manufacturing processes. - Reporting tooling requirements to the supervisor. - Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times. - Supporting continuous improvement in quality, efficiency and machine performance. - Undertaking training and development programmes as required. - Taking a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks, reporting any concerns appropriately. - Carrying out any other duties commensurate with the role.
