Overview of the role

This position will play a key role in leading and coordinating the Sales Support function, ensuring the sales team has the administrative, operational and commercial support needed to deliver exceptional service and drive business growth.

You will act as the central link between sales, operations and key stakeholders, supporting projects across the UK and Head office in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Support

  • Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer quotations.
  • Provide sales packs, figures and customer review documentation for sales meetings.
  • Create and deliver professional presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Update and monitor customer portals, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

Account Administration & Systems

  • Maintain and update the system with accurate data.
  • Manage customer contact details and update any changes within the system.
  • Oversee uploads, product listings on the website and technical drawings.
  • Run TNT processes and liaise with fulfilment companies on project requirements.

Financial & Credit Control

  • Oversee credit control processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Support stock management when quoting and ensure accurate costings.

Operational & Office Management

  • Manage office procurement and general administration.
  • Organise travel, accommodation, team events and meetings.
  • Chair daily operational meetings to ensure team alignment and progress.

Events & Supplier Coordination

  • Organise and coordinate trade shows, working closely with suppliers and head office.
  • Manage event logistics, marketing materials and supplier coordination.

Service & Parts Management

  • Triage service calls and manage the escalation process.
  • Oversee the parts process, ensuring accurate records and smooth operations.

Person Specification

  • Highly organised and detail-orientated.
  • Professional and confident when dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Adaptable and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership and responsibility.
  • Comfortable acting as the central hub linking operations, sales and administration.
