Duties and Responsibilities; - Plan and schedule bulk product movements across the UK. - Monitor and manage driver performance and daily activities. - Conduct driver briefings and debriefings where required. - Collate Proofs of Delivery (PODs) and prepare invoicing summaries. - Ensure all transport jobs are accurately entered into the transport management system. - Review routes and optimise vehicle utilisation to maximise operational efficiency. - Keep customers informed of any service failures, delays, or operational issues. - Manage and coordinate subcontractor activity on a daily basis. - Act as the key communication link between customers and drivers. - Ensure compliance with Driver Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive. - Investigate service failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
