Job Opportunity: Class 1 HGV Tanker Driver – Fuel Distribution Work

Aspion Search is proud to partner with a highly regarded and long-established leader in fuel logistics, currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Tanker Drivers to support their expanding operations.

The Role:

We are recruiting skilled and safety-focused Class 1 HGV Drivers for fuel tanker operations on a temporary, adhoc, or ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking to work with a professional and reliable operator in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and timely delivery of fuel products to commercial and retail sites

• Operating tankers in line with ADR safety standards

• Completing pre/post-trip checks and ensuring full vehicle compliance

• Accurate completion of paperwork, tachograph use, and fuel delivery logs

• Maintaining communication with the transport team and clients

• Adhering strictly to company and industry guidelines

About You:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential criteria:

• Hold a valid UK LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving Class 1 vehicles

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph

• Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence – no drink/drug or dangerous driving offences

Desirable:

• ADR licence (minimum Classes 2 and 3)

• Previous fuel tanker experience

• Petroleum Driver Passport (PDP)

Additional Requirements:

• Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends

• Live within a 45-minute commute of the site location

• Strong attention to detail and high levels of customer service

• Ability to follow strict safety and operational procedures
