£30,000 to £34,000 (dependent on experience)
The Business
A well-established machinery manufacturer designing and building bespoke equipment for customers worldwide is looking to recruit a Machine Operator. The business supplies its machinery to over 30 countries and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service.
With several large projects coming up and continued investment in its engineering capability, the company offers a stable environment and long-term opportunities. The Machine Operator will be joining a close-knit team within a modern workshop where development and progression are supported.
The Role of the Machine Operator
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating both press brake and laser cutting machinery within a manufacturing environment, producing components to specification and maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements of the Machine Operator
- Experience setting, operating and programming press brake machinery
- Experience working within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Experience operating laser cutting equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Able to use measuring equipment such as verniers and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards

- Competitive salary £30,000 to £34,000 (dependent on experience)

- Monday to Friday working hours
- 42.5 hours per week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 30 minute break
