Our client, a well-established steel stockholder in Preston, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Steel Sales Executive to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with new and existing clients to develop strong business relationships.
Provide quotes, process orders, and manage customer accounts efficiently.
Handle customer enquiries, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
Assist in identifying new sales opportunities and contribute to business growth.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in the metals industry highly desirable
Strong sales background essential
Willingness to make outbound sales calls.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed.
Package & Benefits:
Office-based role: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm / Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a coordinated commercial strategy aligning marketing, sales, and customer service

- Oversee marketing campaigns, communications, and digital activity including website strategy, SEO, GEO/AEO, content marketing, and lead generation

- Work closely with senior leadership to support wider business objectives

Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior marketing or commercial leadership role
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate strategy into results
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Track record in demand generation, brand development, and customer engagement
- Strong understanding of digital marketing including SEO, paid search, paid social, content, and emerging AI-driven search (GEO/AEO)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative approach with strong cross-functional working capability
- Experience within B2B services, data, publishing, research, or information services is advantageous but not essential.
