Manufacturing Recruitment

Specialist manufacturing appointments demand an understanding of production environments, technical requirements and commercial priorities. Aspion supports UK manufacturers with recruitment across engineering, maintenance, production, quality, supply chain, sales and business support functions.

Understanding recruitment across manufacturing environments

Manufacturing is not a single operating environment. Packaging and paper businesses, automotive and aerospace manufacturers, chemical and process operations, and producers of capital equipment face different technical, production and commercial requirements. Aspion also supports businesses in polymers and composites, recycling and waste processing, construction products, pharmaceutical manufacturing and related logistics functions.

The right appointment depends on how a business operates. Production and operations functions must work alongside engineering and maintenance, quality and technical teams, design and development, and the supply chain. Sales, finance, HR and health, safety and environmental professionals also contribute to the performance of a manufacturing organisation. Recruiting for one function without understanding its links to the wider operation can result in an unsuitable shortlist.

Our manufacturing specialists establish the production setting, the department, reporting relationships and the practical experience required before beginning a search. This allows us to approach professionals whose background is relevant to the specific brief, rather than treating all manufacturing vacancies as interchangeable.

Manufacturing sectors we support

Our manufacturing expertise spans packaging and paper, chemical and process manufacturing, automotive and aerospace, polymers and composites, capital equipment, recycling and waste processing, construction products, pharmaceuticals and related industrial operations. Built around your production environment

Different manufacturing operations have different pressures: shift patterns, technical standards, product quality, maintenance requirements and workforce availability. We start with a detailed briefing to understand your site, reporting structure, critical skills and what the appointment must achieve.

A targeted search, not simply candidate introductions

Our consultants use market mapping and targeted direct approaches to identify suitable professionals beyond the active applicant market. We assess experience and suitability against your brief, provide regular progress updates and present a considered shortlist supported by consultant insight.
