This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work on a highly regulated COMAH site in Warrington, supporting a well-established team known for quality, precision and high standards. If you're a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, hands-on maintenance and being part of a proactive engineering culture - this role is for you. If you can weld its a bonus! Key Responsibilities: Carry out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across all site equipment. Work on tanks, vessels, pumps, filling systems, valves and blending equipment. Strip, inspect, and rebuild cress relief valves, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Install and maintain tanks and associated pipework to support production operations. Diagnose faults, prioritise maintenance tasks, and minimise downtime. Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on plant reliability and performance. Participate in engineering projects including commissioning, installations, and equipment relocations. Work to high standards on a COMAH-regulated site, ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Record and log maintenance activities accurately using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). About You: Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience within a chemical or COMAH-regulated manufacturing environment. Proven background in mechanical maintenance or multi-skilled engineering. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
