This senior role is central to ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations, while embedding a strong safety culture and supporting ongoing business growth. The EHS Manager will report to the senior operational leadership team and will be responsible for delivering all EHS operational requirements across multiple sites. The role supports the wider Operations function in the strategic delivery of centralised EHS standards across a 24/7/365 logistics environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting continuous extrusion operations through both planned and reactive maintenance. This is a key role in ensuring maximum uptime across production lines, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, mechanical reliability, and process efficiency. The role is electrically biased (60/40 split) and suits someone confident working in a fast-paced, 24/7 production-style environment. Key Responsibilities - Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across extrusion and converting machinery. - Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime. - Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns across production lines. - Fault-find on motors, drives, inverters, sensors, and pneumatic systems. - Maintain and repair vacuum conveying systems including vac pumps, hoppers, and load cells. - Support maintenance of blown film extrusion lines and downstream equipment. - Work on slitter rewinders, bagging machines, recycling systems, and film handling equipment. - Carry out strip down, inspection, repair, and rebuild of mechanical and electrical components. - Ensure all work is completed in line with strict health & safety and quality standards. - Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent output and efficiency. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS systems. Support continuous improvement and reliability projects across site.
