Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience + overtime + benefits)

The Role – Fabricator / Welder

The Fabricator / Welder will be responsible for fabricating and TIG welding a variety of stainless-steel components and structures, working accurately to tight tolerances and supporting the wider fabrication team.

Key Responsibilities of the Fabricator / Welder

• Fabricate and weld stainless-steel components
• Work from and interpret detailed technical engineering drawings
• Produce high-quality, aesthetically neat TIG welds
• Ensure all work meets tight dimensional and quality tolerances
• Use workshop machinery and tools
• Work accurately and efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets
• Support production needs and work agreed overtime when required

Requirements of the Fabricator / Welder

• Time-served or completed Apprenticeship in Fabrication/Welding (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent)
• Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel to a high aesthetic and structural standard
• Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
• Solid fabrication experience with excellent attention to detail
• At least 3 year's experience in a Fabricator/Welder role
