About the Role
Job Description
Aspion are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join our established driver agency, supplying work to leading container and logistics operators.
This role involves container movements between ports, rail terminals, and distribution centres, with a mix of local and long-distance work available. Ideal for drivers experienced with container work or those looking for regular, structured driving assignments.
Key Responsibilities

Transporting 20ft, 40ft, and 45ft containers

Port, rail terminal, and depot collections/deliveries

Completing container paperwork and PODs
-
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
-
Complying with port, site, and road safety regulations
What We’re Looking For

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
-
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
-
Previous container experience preferred (training/induction provided)

Port cards desirable (e.g. DP World, London Gateway, Felixstowe)

Good understanding of container weights, seals, and procedures
-
No more than [6] points on licence
