Key Responsibilities: Carry out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across all site equipment. Work on tanks, vessels, pumps, filling systems, valves and blending equipment. Strip, inspect, and rebuild cress relief valves, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Install and maintain tanks and associated pipework to support production operations. Diagnose faults, prioritise maintenance tasks, and minimise downtime. Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on plant reliability and performance. Participate in engineering projects including commissioning, installations, and equipment relocations. Work to high standards on a COMAH-regulated site, ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Record and log maintenance activities accurately using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). About You: Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience within a chemical or COMAH-regulated manufacturing environment. Proven background in mechanical maintenance or multi-skilled engineering. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Mechanical Fitter - £42,000 Location: Stockport Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (early finish Friday at 4pm) Type: Permanent, Full-Time Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter with TIG welding experience? We're supporting a leading growing manufacturer in Stockport who is looking to expand their Engineering team with a hands-on Welder Mechanical Fitter. You'll be involved in welding, mechanical fitting and maintenance of automated production equipment. Maintenance Technician Location: Aberdeen Salary: up to 42k DOE Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday 8:00 am - 2:30 pm Overtime + morning + evenings + weekends - time and half Key Responsibilities: Assemble and, where applicable, test a variety of industrial machinery and hydraulic/mechanical products in line with engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct quality inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure products meet high standards before shipment. Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment while working independently or as part of a team. Operate hand and power tools with precision to complete tasks such as measuring, marking, cutting, grinding, drilling and tapping. Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture. Adhere to all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures. About You: Mechanical background is essential, with a good understanding of hydraulic systems being advantageous. Skilled in using hand/power tools and performing precise engineering tasks.
