Our client, a well-established steel stockholder in Ipswich, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Steel Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with new and existing clients to develop strong business relationships.
  • Provide quotes, process orders, and manage customer accounts efficiently.
  • Handle customer enquiries, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Assist in identifying new sales opportunities and contribute to business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in the metals industry essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed.

  • Office-based role: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities: Efficiently and accurately handle incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper recording and labelling. Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) Counterbalance to move, stack, and arrange products within the warehouse. Organise and maintain the warehouse to optimize storage space and ensure a safe working environment. Picking and packing orders for dispatch, adhering to quality standards and delivery deadlines. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and targets.
