Do you enjoy developing new ways of working focusing on efficiencies?

Happy to travel across multiple sites and can manage remote teams?

If so, my client is look to add to their UK growing team & seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics professional to lead their UK logistics operations, drive service performance and deliver cost-efficient solutions across our sites.

Package

  • Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
  • Monday – Friday (Earlier finish on a Friday)
  • 25 days holidays + bank holidays

Key Duties

  • Lead UK supply chain operations and deliver agreed KPIs
  • Drive cost reduction and sourcing improvement from day one
  • Optimise routes, driver performance and fleet utilisation
  • Manage procurement, stock and logistics through SAP and other systems
  • Oversee stock across multiple UK locations
  • Negotiate with suppliers and carriers to improve service and costs
  • Manage building, warehouse and transport costs
  • Ensure full QHSE compliance and a safety-first culture
  • Lead, develop and motivate logistics teams
  • Use data, Excel, Power BI and analytics to improve performance

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in supply chain & logistics management
  • Strong background in fleet, driver and logistics optimisation
  • Successful record of delivering cost savings and sourcing improvements
  • Skilled negotiator with supplier and carrier contracts
  • Confident using SAP, Excel and supply chain systems
  • Strong leadership and team-development ability
  • QHSE awareness and commitment to safety

Finance Manager
