Duties and Responsibilities; - Lead the day-to-day transport and logistics operation. - Act as the nominated Transport Manager and CPC holder on the Operator's Licence. - Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations, Operator Licence requirements and driver legislation. - Oversee fleet maintenance, MOTs, PMIs and vehicle compliance, working closely with the planning and compliance teams. - Manage and develop operational teams, promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. - Monitor operational performance, customer service levels and resource utilisation. - Support financial performance through effective operational management, with training provided in P&L management. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service delivery. - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational success.
