Metal Polisher

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 + overtime + benefits

The role – Metal Polisher:

The Metal Polisher will polish precision-engineered metal components to exacting finishes while maintaining zero-defect quality standards.

 

Responsibilities of the Metal Polisher:

  • Polish components to a range of finishes
  • Use polishing equipment to finish radii and complex surfaces.
  • Inspect goods in/out, subcontract work, and purchased parts.
  • Complete in-process and final inspection
  • Sign first/last-off inspection reports and raise non-conformances.
  • Support process audits and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards.

 

About the Metal Polisher:

  • At least 2 year’s experience in metal polishing
  • Confident using polishing tools and inspection equipment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and quality-driven
  • Strong team player who takes pride in their work
