This is an excellent opportunity for a transport professional with strong planning experience within general haulage who thrives in a busy operational environment. Working as part of a supportive night team alongside another Planner, an Operations Manager, and Customer Service support, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the night fleet operation, ensuring service levels are maintained and drivers are fully supported throughout the shift. Working within a busy UK trunking network, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating the overnight movement of vehicles and trailers between depots and network locations, ensuring trunking schedules are maintained and service levels are consistently achieved. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport professional who understands the pressures of a time-critical night trunking operation, is confident managing drivers and vehicles in real time, and can make quick, effective decisions when operational issues arise.
