An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead a well-established transport operation. This role would suit a motivated logistics professional looking to take ownership of a compliant, customer-focused fleet while developing their commercial and operational management skills.
Managing a fleet of seven vehicles, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and service delivery. Supported by a highly experienced Senior Operations Lead and an established planning and compliance team, this position offers the opportunity to focus on leadership, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people and processes, with genuine scope to shape the operation and expand their own commercial knowledge through exposure to P&L management.

The Candidate;
- A valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Road Transport Operations (essential).
- Experience as an Operator Licence holder/Transport Manager.
- A proven background in transport or logistics management.
- Knowledge of customs, freight forwarding and sub contraction is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of transport compliance, fleet operations and driver legislation.
- A maintenance or fleet engineering background would be highly desirable.
- Experience leading operational teams and driving performance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to make sound operational decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Lead the day-to-day transport and logistics operation.
- Act as the nominated Transport Manager and CPC holder on the Operator's Licence.
- Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations, Operator Licence requirements and driver legislation.
- Oversee fleet maintenance, MOTs, PMIs and vehicle compliance, working closely with the planning and compliance teams.
- Manage and develop operational teams, promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor operational performance, customer service levels and resource utilisation.
- Support financial performance through effective operational management, with training provided in P&L management.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational success.

Our client, a well-established precision engineering business based in Dudley, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their growing manufacturing team.
This position would suit an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator with strong knowledge of CNC machining and Fanuc-controlled machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components in line with customer drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Programming CNC machinery to produce components to specification.
- Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls.
- Working in line with customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
- Ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high levels of quality, safety and efficiency.
- Carrying out first-off and self-inspection to ensure components meet tight tolerances.
- Proving out programmes at the machine and making adjustments where required.
- Working with minimal supervision following training, demonstrating strong initiative and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Reporting tooling requirements to the supervisor.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
- Supporting continuous improvement in quality, efficiency and machine performance.
- Undertaking training and development programmes as required.
- Taking a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks, reporting any concerns appropriately.
- Carrying out any other duties commensurate with the role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator is essential.
- Strong experience setting and operating Star and/or Citizen sliding head CNC machines is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling.
- Ability to carry out self-inspection using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of health & safety within a manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
Package Details:
- £19 per hour AM Shift / £20 per hour PM Shift
- Shifts available - AM Shift 06:00-14:30 Monday to Friday / PM Shift 14:30-01:00

The Role
Based in Liverpool, with occasional travel to other company locations and customer sites for technical surveys, the successful candidate will provide engineering support across the business by responding to technical enquiries, producing electrical designs, supporting product development, and delivering project engineering solutions.
Reporting to the Technical Director, key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
Design LV and MV electrical and control systems in accordance with relevant industry standards.
Produce electrical engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation.
Create electrical drawings including schematics, panel layouts, interconnection diagrams, single-line diagrams, and block diagrams.
Support electrical power distribution and control system architecture.
Produce and maintain EC&I documentation, including P&IDs, cable schedules, and instrument schedules.
Review and update engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Apply EMC best practices, including cable segregation, shielding, and grounding.
Carry out site surveys and inspections to support project delivery and ensure compliance.
Support construction and commissioning activities.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Assist with technical proposals and tender submissions.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
Essential
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of two years' experience in a similar Electrical Design Engineer role.
Experience using AutoCAD Electrical.
Experience producing electrical drawings and engineering documentation.
Good understanding of EC&I documentation.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Desirable
Experience using AutoCAD Mechanical.
Previous experience within switchgear, power distribution, industrial automation, or a related engineering environment.
